Elias Kindle
Elias’ hometown (Triesen) is a modest village in a small but multifarious country. His upbringing and diverse interest in sports is reflected in how he approaches people. Elias always has an open ear, an open mind and an open heart for everyone who treats him with respect. As an environmental engineer (BA), Elias has a solid understanding of nature and its cycles, and has decided to put this knowledge to use by focusing his energy and effort towards sustainable development with its emphasis on the collaboration of nature, society and the economy. His primary motivation in applying for the MSLS programme was to understand how to combine these components and have them work together for a sustainable way of life. In the future he wants to live in a world where people who choose to can enjoy the sun and nature the way we do today.
By now Elias founded an organisation called Symbiose which has the aim to foster a connected and sustainable society in Liechtenstein. The organisation has three main areas of focus: 1) organizing community events 2) organizing community projects (non-profit) and 3) sustainability consulting for businesses and municipalities (profit that feeds into community projects).
